Karen graduated from St. Petersburg College in 1985 with an A.S. in Legal Assistant. She has worked as a securities paralegal for 16 years at private law firms and in the legal department of a regional securities broker-dealer. Karen is an integral part of the firm’s litigation team, and is involved in every aspect of securities-related matters. Her job responsibilities include preparation of initial drafts of pleadings, legal research, discovery-related tasks, and assistance at arbitration final hearings. Karen also has substantial experience in corporate matters, including the preparation of required disclosure documentation in connection with private placements. Karen also serves as an industry-designated arbitrator for FINRA.
